Google is not truly blind I just used that to grab your attention. What I mean is that Google cannot see your website's images, flash or graphics content on its own. You have to help the mighty powerful search engine to understand what your pictures are about. The Google can read so don't forget to properly annotate your images!
Not a day goes by where I don't see a site that is using their images improperly. Most people already know but as a reminder the search engines cannot see your beautiful pictures. What they can read is any ALT information that you provide for that image tag.
