This year were fortunate enough to be a part of the rebranding process with White Oak Learning Academy. Over the last year the management team of a string of family owned daycares in the North Georgia area was tasked with consolidating the brand image and brand names of Kid's Korner and North Ga. Kids Academy. Thalo was asked to be involved as the brand consulting agency to deliver a unified brand name and unified brand image. The new brand needed to borrow and merge the culture of the two separate companies and consolidate them in a way that exemplified what it meant to toughly be a fine learning academy.

After meeting with the owners, visiting the facilities, and talking one on one with the location directors and the individual teachers we where able to put our finger on exactly what made this new company unique. Honestly, once this was accomplished the work became very natural. We presented the owners with a couple of ideas for new brand names and eventually decided that "White Oak" was the perfect identity to move forward with.

Borrowing from the description that was eventually written by Jamie prentice with bottom line copywriters;
"The term "The Mighty Oak" comes from this magnificent tree. Its slow and steady growth, paired with remarkable longevity, make white oaks a dominant force in the forest. It can live for 600 years or more! The wood of White Oaks is a valuable resource and was once used extensively for shipbuilding. This solid wood becomes more waterproof after being placed in water. Just like shipbuilders who used White Oaks to reach their destination, we help your children reach theirs. Through proven techniques, individualized care, and family values, we help your child become strong and healthy, much like a White Oak."

It was clear from the onset that we had tapped into something that perfectly described the nature of the business.

Brand Imaging & Logo Design

I collaborated with Thos Gibson extensively during the logo design phase of this project. We came up with plenty of logo concepts, but finally narrowed it down to five or six different branded logo ideas. Below you will see the different ideas in raw form that we presented to the customer.

Once the customer made their selection we applied the color scheme that we developed and polished the logo. At this point we typically give five to ten different styling options for final logo selection.

Overall we are very happy with the look and feel of the final brand. The customer has adopted the brand thought the organization and re-badged nearly all of their equipment, vehicles, paperwork, signs, etc..
