I have been working in the computer industry for 15 years and have evolved from a network engineer to a graphic designer. Don't ask me how these things happen. I am a partner at Thalo Creative Studios, an Internet consulting firm and web design / development firm just north of Atlanta in Dawsonville Georgia. I am lucky enough to be able to do what I love all day.

Phillip has worked with over 4,165 websites in the past 7 years in one position or another. He has seen the good, the bad and the ugly of the Internet and desires to help small to mid-sized businesses get the most out of the Internet. He has seen the 6 months it can take to get your site restored at Google and emphasizes that nobody can guarantee you anything when it comes to the search engines. All you can do is give them what they are looking for and do more, pay more or be more than your competitors.

Whilst out reviewing the competition sites we have started to narrow down our design and how similar yet different the design will need to be so as not to infringe on anyone's copyrights. We have figured out that our target market will include both men and women and so we have decided to make a design alternate specific to the female demographic.

You may ask what a CMS is. CMS stands for Content Management System. Traditionally users are not able to edit their websites with out knowing how to work with html. So if they decide to try to edit it them selves there is a possibility of messing everything up. With out a CMS based website the client would have to go to the designer to have them ma ...

At Thalo Creative, we host a lot of the websites we design and some others that we haven’t designed. One of the biggest reasons we host them is the ease it gives us because we know our own systems when we are making edits on the website. But then the hosting providers we use start diminishing in the quality of service that they provide. The big cau ...

Granted, the company has come a long way from it roots of selling plastic knives that appear to cut through pineapples. So has Marketing. In today’s technological business climate, it is often hard to qualify what is actually a good lead, and what may be a complete waste of time. I can research a company within a couple of minutes online, have a pretty good idea about the company, and consider them worth my time exploring. At the same time, any company can look online and ...

I have been in Systems Administration for 9 years, working in the IT department of many different organizations. I hope to bring my vast knowledge, education and experience gained in that time to our clients. Some of my past experience includes working with retailers, churches, restaurants, law offices, medical practices, engineering firms, non-profits, transportation businesses, and insurance companies, just to name a few.
As the resident tech guru at Thalo Creative Studios I assist people and their businesses with the technology they use everyday. From getting the servers at work migrated over to virtual machines to getting that virus off your computer. I work to smoothly integrate these technologies in your personal and business lives and resolve any issues that arise in the process. I'm very passionate about the service we offer, service designed so that you can spend your time doing those things you're most passionate about!

I’ve seen IT departments go from centralized, to decentralized to centralized again. From in house to outsourced and back again.
Any group in a company that starts putting its own interests ahead of the company’s best interests is eventually either going to lose or take down the company; especially small ones. Unfortunately, too many IT departme ...

Move The Recycle Bin To The Taskbar In Windows 7
When the Recycle Bin first made its appearance in Windows 95, I really enjoyed dragging and dropping unneeded files on the trash can icon and watching them disappear. It was just so cool! (Keep in mind that was 15 years ago, and the drag-and-drop capability was a new feature.)
