As we get busier and busier we see our schedules filling up quickly. Nothing will stop your progress more than having to stop your long term project to make a couple of 'emergency' edits. We are starting to have an issue with scheduling. The only way to make it fair for everyone involved is for us to institute a couple of new policies.

I was asked this last night, while out with one of my new coworkers, by a waitress.  First thing that jumped to my lips was "I'm a Systems Administrator in the IT Services department at Thalo Creative Studios."  As you can imagine there was a "smile and nod" reaction and I could see the wheels spinning in her head, trying to figure out what all that meant.  Since then I've tried coming up with a better way to communicate what it is I do and I think I've got something.
